Planning a wedding at an island? Well, that is an excellent idea! No wedding could be as great as the Cayman island Weddings for bringing your life of togetherness and happiness to a new beginning. What could be better at tantalizing the senses than the serene blue water and the white beaches? And what could be better at making your guests feel a personal touch than the thatched beach cottage? There is however, a misconception that Island Weddings have to be extremely expensive on the whole to be a success. Here are a few buster tips to negate this deeply accepted fact.

•  A bit of research could help - Have you compared the service charts of the many wedding planners? What would they be including? Would the exotic music stay out of their service list? What about the culinary surprises and linens? What about the bride's hair and make-up? Some Cayman Wedding Planners include everything in their services. The fact that you would be getting everything at one place would allow you a lot of free time so that you can concentrate on other things.

• Who is the photographer? - basically, wedding photography has to be memorable and meant for the close ones to recollect later on, the splendid time they had spent at your special day. Sieve out a fairly good photographer in your own family. Photography costs can really build up. If however, your Cayman Wedding planner is providing for the photography part as well, what could be better?

• Hey! The food! - A multi-entre`e buffet is a costly affair. How about a reception invitation for the afternoon tea or dessert? Or better yet, how about a combo dinner? If that does not happen, take care to make music a less extravagant affair.

Cayman Wedding Head Planner - Juliette Heath

Juliette first started working in the Wedding and Event Planning industry in November 2007.

Originally from the UK, she has been living in Grand Cayman since 1999 and considers Cayman to be her home. Juliette is very well travelled and prior to moving to Cayman spent some time working in Egypt, she enjoys learning about different cultures and ways of life which she loves to incorporate, bringing a unique flair to all her events.

Juliette has been planning events and parties in her spare time since she was 23, she was actively involved in organizing huge New Years parties in the UK, participating in the UK London Carnival, Cayman's Batabano and Barbados Crop Over. In 2000 she became a member of a non-profit organization that planned various events including "carnival" cruise parties and night club promotions which became extremely popular in Cayman and she managed to do all of this in her spare time while working full time as a legal assistant.

Little Cayman - Cayman Beach Weddings

Little Cayman is located 5 miles west of Cayman Brac and has an area of about 10 square miles. You can get to Little Cayman by boat or plane, if you take a plane it is only about a 40 minute ride from Grand Cayman Owen Roberts Airport.
